EMBASE® Classic is available on Dialog (File
772). This important
new database, produced by Elsevier, contains the
bibliographic records originally published in the
43 Excerpta Medica abstract print journals
from 1947 through 1973. Drawn from over 3,000 international
titles, EMBASE Classic indexes more than 1.8 million
records from the biomedical and pharmacological literature.
Abstracts are available for more than 90% of the
database records.
Combined with other archive data recently added
to Dialog, including BIOSIS Previews® (File
5), Zoological Record Online®, and MEDLINE
(1951+ in FILE 155), EMBASE Classic will provide
greater context for current and future research.
Subscribers to EMBASE Classic will be able to search
seamlessly across current EMBASE and EMBASE Classic — more
than 13 million records and 60 years of authoritative
biomedical literature!
