Dialog invites attendees of the 2013 PIUG Annual Conference to register for the following workshop free of charge.
Abstract This session will provide a pre-release in-depth review of the upcoming ProQuest Dialog™ Patents product, which delivers the largest integrated collection of patent and non-patent literature in a single service. The content collection includes global full text patent authorities, three unique patent family views from Derwent World Patents Index, ProQuest Dialog Inpadoc, and LexisNexis Univentio, as well as access to non-patent literature collections covering engineering, biomedical, and news and trade. During the session, we will cover how ProQuest Dialog meets the needs of patent researchers from all skill levels — from novice to expert — with specific emphasis on the Advanced and Command Line search experiences. We will also review many of the key workflow, analytical, and collaboration tools that are included to help patent professionals interpret and act upon their research.
