G-Search Limited was founded in January 1991 to provide comprehensive database services. We've successfully extended our business operations with expansion of the network infrastructures such as computer on-line services, and we are currently one of the top database providers in Japan. Database services are the cornerstone of G-Search Limited's content business and have been widely used since the inception of the company.

Our products encompass a broad spectrum and include some 170 domestic and 800 overseas databases (Dialog, DataStar, Profound), covering information on a wide variety of fields from business, corporate data and patents, to science and technology, and the life science. We will continue to expand our products on offer and provide our services through channels that best meet the diverse needs of our users, employing the most advanced search and networking technologies.
