ProQuest Administrator Module

How to Create a Usage Report

Outline

1. Log into ProQuest Administrator Module (PAM)
2. Reports
3. Invoice report
4. Usage report
5. Scheduled report

Slide 1
You can retrieve ProQuest usage reports that provide account-specific details such as usage summaries by account, site or user, search mode, time or database. This information lets you see usage patterns, popular searching mechanisms and databases. You can use this information to make sure that your ProQuest account meets the needs of your searchers — providing the right databases, supplying searchers with the correct access, and ensuring that the default settings are configured properly.

Slide 2
ProQuest Administrator Module provides administrators tools to analyze and plan for the future. They can follow usage patterns, analyze which databases have the most impact and monitor searching activities by departments. They can pull down invoices, create usage reports and schedule delivery of reports on a regular basis.

Slide 13
The Database Activity — Detail report shows searches and documents usage by location, database and login name and includes which format was provided, such as citation/abstract or full text. To navigate back to the Reports page, click Reports in the left panel or use the back key.
