You can now access ProQuest Dialog ProSheets from within the ProQuest Dialog interface. Review this module to see how to review these important search sheets.

We'll enter our search terms—biomimicry and sustain*. The asterisk will pick up all forms of the word "sustain". If we're not too familiar with the database, we can check the ProSheet.

We see a description, subject coverage, dates of coverage, update frequency and then the search fields. Notice two-letter codes such as AB for abstract and AU for author to narrow the search.

At the bottom of the ProSheet, we find Limit options, Common Concepts, Browse fields and Narrow results by limiters. We can even look up citations.

We've reviewed the ProSheet for BIOSIS. Now click the Close button.

Click Close all tabs to return to your search.

To sum up, you can click the Help menu on any search page. From the Table of Contents, click Search syntax and field codes, Common field codes, ProSheets, and the ProSheet of choice in this case, BIOSIS Previews. Review the specifics of the ProSheet. When you've completed your review, click the red X in the upper right corner and click Close all tabs to return to your search.
