Happy New Year! As we all reflect on the past year and look forward to the year ahead, I wanted to highlight a few items of special importance for the Dialog community:

• Industry recognition for ProQuest Dialog™. Throughout 2011, we received enthusiastic product reviews and customer feedback about the power and ease of use of ProQuest Dialog. This was capped off when the service received the 2011 technology award from the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP), a group representing some of our most savvy users. We are delighted with this recognition, confirming that our development is aligned with the priorities and needs of customers.
  
  
• Looking forward to 2012. We recently completed migrating DataStar customers to ProQuest Dialog, and are now planning for migration of Dialog customers in 2012. As we prepare to load many more databases on ProQuest Dialog, we are also building a new patent application that will transform the way users make connections across the patent and non-patent literature. Additionally, we are adding new pricing plans to increase flexibility for our customers.
