Get pre-published biomedical literature with MEDLINE Publisher

Get the news before it comes out with Alerts in MEDLINE Publisher and Embase® Alert.

MEDLINE Publisher (File 152) lets you in the door to pre-published medical research.  A "Publisher" record in PubMed is an initial version of a record prior to its distribution by the National Library of Medicine as a MEDLINE record. Many Publisher records are for records posted on the Web in advance of a journal's release, ahead of print citations. They might not even have a journal issue, volume number or pagination.  Note that they will not yet have descriptors or CAS® Registry Numbers assigned to them.

Embase Alert (File 172) is another current awareness database that puts you in touch with the very latest pharmacological and biomedical articles before they are indexed and loaded into Embase (File 73).

Set up daily Alerts in Files 152 and 172 to get the earliest data on your key biomedical, clinical and pharmaceutical areas of interest.
