Dialog Appoints Christine Naylor as CFO

Chris NaylorCARY, N.C., USA, (December 10, 2001) -- The Dialog Corporation, a Thomson business and a leading worldwide provider of online-based information services, today announced the appointment of Chris Naylor as chief financial officer. She is Dialog's senior financial officer, managing all of the company's financial activities worldwide.

Prior to joining Dialog, Naylor was a vice president for West Group, a leading provider of legal, regulatory and business information and also a Thomson business. Among her other accomplishments at West Group, she spearheaded the re-engineering of the company's customer ordering and fulfillment systems, and also initiated a comprehensive product review process.

Before West Group, Naylor held various financial and management positions with global healthcare company Bausch & Lomb, including chief financial officer for Dahlberg, Inc., a Bausch & Lomb company.

Naylor is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a MBA from the University of Rochester, Simon School. She and her family have relocated to the Cary, N.C., area, where Dialog maintains its headquarters.
