P R E S S R E L E A S E Dialog Rolls Out Quantum2 Program Across Europe LONDON, UK — 7 December 2001 — The Dialog Corporation, a Thomson business and a leading international provider of online-based information services, today announced plans for the European roll-out of its Quantum2 development program for information professionals. The program, which builds on and enhances a highly successful Dialog program first introduced in 1993, provides training and tools to enhance professional development, with a special focus on strategies to develop leadership skills and demonstrate the value of professional information services within organisations. To coincide with the launch of Quantum2, Dialog announced the appointment of Liz Blankson-Hemans to head the program in Europe. Blankson-Hemans joins Dialog from Clifford Chance, one of the leading law practices in the world, where she was Manager of the firm's Central Information Services division. "Information professionals are constantly facing the need to prove the effectiveness of content selection and managed information access within their organisations," said Blankson-Hemans, Manager, Information Professional Development for Dialog EMEAP.
