Intelligence Data Introduces Online IntelliscopeSM Tutorial

BOSTON, Mass. USA, May 13, 2002 — Intelligence Data, now part of Dialog, a Thomson business and a leading worldwide provider of online-based information services and integrated information solutions, today announced the release of a Web-based tutorial for users of Intelliscope(sm), Intelligence Data's flagship product.

The new tutorial gives users the ability to learn how to best access Intelliscope's extensive collection of business intelligence. It consists of a series of self-guided presentations and demonstrations, designed to help users gain in-depth knowledge of Intelliscope's content offerings, develop skills to refine their searches and explore the full potential of the product's features and information-sharing tools.

"While Intelliscope is designed to be intuitive, users nevertheless may derive greater benefits from using the service with an in-depth understanding of its many features," explained Cheryl Curran, executive vice president, Intelligence Data. "Our goal is to increase our users' proficiency with the product, enabling them to learn timesaving shortcuts and obtain more finely tuned results."

With the new tutorial, users can also improve their organizational effectiveness by learning how to use features to distribute reports enterprise-wide. The tutorial also enhances the end-user training function by assisting the information professional in rolling out the service throughout their organization without having to conduct personalized training sessions.

The 30-minute tutorial is modular in design, providing users with the option to complete the entire training program in one sitting or to focus on one or more sections at a time.

Companies wishing to learn more about Intelliscope are invited to contact Intelligence Data for a complimentary, no-obligation trial offer. In North America, please call (800) 654-0393 or send e-mail to intelligence.data@tfn.com. In Europe or Asia, please call +44-(0)20-7369-7656 or send e-mail to id.support@tfeurope.com.
