Daily Content of The New York Times To Be Available From NewsEdge

Daily full-text content from the New York Times strengthens NewsEdge Corporation's 2,000 source product offering

BURLINGTON, Mass. - January 15, 2002 - NewsEdge, a Thomson business and leading provider of real-time news and information products, announced today it will enhance its news products with complete, daily full-text content from The New York Times. The content will be delivered through an agreement with New York Times Digital, the Internet division of The New York Times Company.

NewsEdge, which provides real-time news and information products to approximately 1,500 corporations, government agencies, non-profits and professional service firms worldwide, said content from The New York Times will be incorporated into most of its spectrum of news products including NewsEdge Live and NewsEdge Insight. NewsEdge will have access to The New York Times archives for 90 days.

According to NewsEdge president and CEO Cliff Pollan, premium news sources from publishers like The New York Times make NewsEdge's offering a trusted, valuable information tool.
