SLA and Dialog Announce Partnership for L.A. Conference

CARY, N.C., USA, and WASHINGTON, D.C., USA, May 24, 2002 — The Special Libraries Association (SLA) and Dialog, a Thomson (TSX:TOC) business and a leading worldwide provider of online-based information services and integrated information solutions, today announced that Dialog will be a Major Conference Partner for SLA's 93rd Annual Conference June 8-13, 2002, in Los Angeles.

Dialog is one of four Major Conference Partners supporting the SLA conference this year.

As a 2002 Major Conference Partner, Dialog has pledged support for conference activities and events. Dialog is helping to underwrite the popular Tech Zone Computer Lab, which will offer conference participants hands-on technology skills training necessary for today's information professionals to deliver quality services to their customers. The company is also supporting continuing education courses that will be offered at the conference.
