This year's winners are:

  • Tom Koehler, senior technical information analyst, 3M Library & Information Services (St. Paul, MN), recognized for his work in helping facilitate broad access for 3M professionals to electronic journals using OpenURL-based linking technology.
  • Mary Wassum, senior resource services librarian, Pall Corporation ( East Hills, NY), praised for her business acumen and ability to maximize information services for Pall Corporation offices worldwide.

"The three individuals we are honoring today exemplify the Quantum2 business and strategic competencies," said Libby Trudell, Dialog senior vice president of information professional development. "Each of them understands the need to leverage information as a real-life asset for their companies. They understand how corporate libraries can make a real difference to the bottom line, and that is a valuable lesson for us all."
