Customize your ProQuest Dialog account

How do you prefer to search on ProQuest Dialog? Is it Basic Search, Advanced Search, or Command Line Search? If you set your start page default to Command Line Search, it will be the first page you see upon login.

pqd-pref-pref.jpgSimply click Preferences on any page.

pqd-pref-pref.jpgPreferences takes you into your My Research account where you can browse and choose the settings you want. Customize ProQuest Dialog so that it is really yours. For example, if you prefer to get right in and enter search statements to create search sets, make Command Line Search your start page.

pqd-pref-pref.jpgOther settings include date formats, Results (retrieved records) displayed in brief or detailed view, number of records on a page and sort options — by relevance or by publication date.

pqd-pref-pref.jpgYou can use the Search customization settings on the Preferences page to choose whether your searches will automatically include U.S. and British spelling variants, or plural, comparative and superlative forms of your search terms.
