Using Document Type to locate conference information

ProQuest Dialog makes it easy to get great answers. To help your users find engineering conference information, narrow by Document Type in Advanced Search in ProQuest Dialog.  Just copy and paste the following tip and it’s ready to send to your users!

Enter the search terms clean technology in the first row of Advanced Search and choose Document title — TI from the drop list.

Limit retrieval to the Date range Last 12 months from the drop list.

In Document Type, check the boxes for Conference, Conference Paper and Conference Proceeding.

Click Search. The conference title, location, and dates appear below the abstract or text in a record.
 

Note: You can also search on a conference title using the field code CFTI to find all the conferences with a specific title. CFTI(2012 PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING)
