Create a custom format template

ProQuest Dialog makes it easy to get great answers. Your users can now customize output formats in a template in ProQuest Dialog so they get exactly what they want in their search results.

Copy and paste the following tip, and it’s ready to send to your users!

Note: View the video. go

  1. Login to your My Research account.
  2. Begin your search, select databases and enter a search query.
  3. On the Results page, select records you wish to download or export. Click Export/Save and choose an application such as PDF.
  4. Under Custom Format, check boxes for all fields you want to display in your results and check the box Save my selections for future use.
  5. Create a name for your template.
  6. Click Continue and your template will be saved automatically. The template is now available when you want to export or download records.
  7. To reuse the template, select your named template from Saved template from the Results format box.

Note: You must be logged into the My Research account you were signed into when you saved the template.
