Alerts enhancements ensure you stay "in the know"

The latest ProQuest Dialog release saw enhancements to current awareness Alerts that add convenience, efficiency and ease in staying on top of significant developments in your field. Once you create Alerts on your most important research, rely on ProQuest Dialog to keep you up to date.

Alerts enhancements:

  • Deliver Alerts with up to 4,000 records all in one document
  • Customize your Alert output. Review this feature in Cut/Paste/Send YouTube.
  • Specify time of day of delivery of weekly and monthly Alerts for your convenience.

Simplified Alerts management

To simplify management of Alerts with larger results sets, links to retrieve documents are sent for large deliveries (1MB – 10MB set by admin with a default of 3MB). Alert creators can choose not to receive an Alert when it is created under their My Research account. This option reduces the email load for information professionals who manage a large portfolio of Alerts.

Alerts display enhanced

The Alerts compact, informative display in My Research allows quick access to Alert status information and reduces scrolling. It is especially helpful to customers who manage large Alert portfolios. You can view up to 100 Alerts per page and sort by frequency, name and last updated. You can also add information, including frequency, file and content format and include your search strategy in Alert attachments.

These enhanced Alerts features and more offer reliability and currency where it means the most—monitoring your important research. There's no better way to save time than by setting up an Alert — your personal business heads-up call.
